Repairs to Helmet

The helmet shown is a fiberglass helmet with substantial thickness. Minor repairs can be made to these helmets.

Helmet preparation: Removal of old padding; scraping old glue; remove hardware. Rusted hardware receive WD40 treatment.

Repairing damage: Damaged chin requires grinding off loose pieces and prep for resin fill ; applying resin with fiberglass strands for strength ; grinding high spots. Following up with hand sanding and some filler if necessary.

Damage is smoothed and primed, ready for paint. New padding is cut, to be installed after paint and Clearcoat.
